DOCTRINAL STATEMENT
Sec. 1 We believe that the Bible is God’s Infallible Word, written by men who were divinely and uniquely inspired, and that it is our supreme authority in all matters of faith and practice. We affirm our beliefs in the original manuscripts. We believe the King James Bible to be the preserved Word of God and is perfect and entire in all matters to which it speaks.
Sec. 2 We believe in God the Father, perfect in holiness, infinite in wisdom, and measureless in power. We rejoice that He concerns Himself mercifully in the affairs of men, that He hears and answers prayer, and that He saves from sin and death all who come to Him through Jesus Christ.
Sec. 3 We believe in Jesus Christ, God’s only begotten Son, born of a virgin, sinless in His life, who atoned for the sins of the world by His death on the cross. We believe in His bodily resurrection, His ascension into Heaven, His high priestly intercession for His people, and His personal, visible, premillennial return to the world according to His promise.
Sec. 4 We believe in the Holy Spirit Who came forth from God to convict the world of sin, of righteousness and of judgment, and to regenerate, sanctify, comfort, and seal forever those who believe in Jesus Christ.
Sec. 5 We believe that all men are sinners by nature and by choice but that “God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten son that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” We believe, therefore, that those who accept Christ as their Savior and Lord shall be forever in God’s presence, and that those who reject Christ as their Savior and Lord will be forever separated from God. cf. Rev. 20:15
Sec. 6 We believe that the local church is composed of regenerated believers, voluntarily united together for the purpose of the worship of God, the fellowship of believers and the proclamation of the gospel of Christ throughout the world.
Sec. 7 We believe that our independent positions are Scripturally sound. They include the sufficiency of the individual soul in direct approach to God; the priesthood of all believers; regenerate church membership; the symbolic ordinances of baptism and the Lord’s Supper; the autonomy of the local church; the solemn obligation to majority rule within the church, with equal rights to all and special privileges to none; the absolute separation of church and state, and a world-wide program of missionary endeavor in obedience to the final command of our Lord.
Sec. 8 Summary of the Doctrinal Statement of Faith: We are an independent Bible-believing church, standing for the verbal inspiration of the Bible, the Deity of Christ, His Blood Atonement, Salvation by Faith, New Testament soulwinning and the Premillennial return of Christ, Opposing Worldliness, formalism, and any form of Modernism (including Neo-Orthodoxy and Neo-Evangelicalism).
